About the Presenter:

Betty F. Hackney, Assoc. AIA

Betty Hackney is a trained architect turned marketer and graphic designer, who has spent nearly 20 years in the AEC industry. Having served as a marketing coordinator, marketing manager, creative lead and every other title under the sun, her range of experience varies from marketing collateral design and production, to proposal writing, to photo editing and manipulation. Betty uses her background as an architect as a way to bridge the gap between AEC professionals and others in a clear and concise visual/graphic way. Betty owns her own freelance company offering marketing and graphic design to the AEC industry, is a Marketing Associate for BartonPartners Architects and is an Adjunct Professor of Architectural & Visual Design at Jefferson University. In her spare time, she is an avid runner who loves to travel with her husband, albeit only when she can be separated from the love of her life, her corgi, Enzo.
