Member Spotlight - Crystal Gelinas and Danielle Mercier

Crystal is a Marketing Coordinator/Proposal Writer at Consulting Engineering Services in Middletown, Connecticut. Crystal is currently responsible for proposal preparation, subconsultant qualification packages, photography, graphic design and event coordination.
She currently resides in Farmington with her dog, Bronx. In addition to Crystal’s professional role, she is passionate about photography, taking care of her houseplants and gardening. She loves the outdoors so you will most likely find her paddleboarding or hiking the toughest trails in New England.
Crystal is excited to be a member of SMPS! She hopes to expand her network within the AEC industry and enhance her proposal writing skills.
Danielle Mercier serves as the Marketing Director at edmSTUDIO, an architecture and interior design firm located in Unionville CT. In her role, she oversees all marketing initiatives for the company. With prior experience in marketing and proposal development for construction management and engineering firms in the Boston area, she brings a wealth of experience to her current position. Since moving back to Connecticut, she was thrilled to join edmSTUDIO to learn more about the world of architecture.
Outside of her professional role, Danielle dedicates her time to caring for her German Shepherd puppy. She enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking, and participating in bonfires with her family and friends. Danielle and her husband are about to begin an exciting new chapter as they anticipate the arrival of their first baby this February.
As a member of SMPS, she is looking forward to growing connections and expanding her knowledge through participation in future events.
