DEI Moment with Lisa Pavano, CPSM: October 2026

We work alongside people from different generations, and each person brings something valuable to the table, whether that’s a fresh perspective, comfort with new technology, years of experience, or a long view of how things get done. It’s easy to make assumptions. We might think someone is too young to have enough experience or assume an older colleague won’t be open to a new idea. But when we take the time to listen and stay curious, we can learn from one another instead. Inclusion means making room for different ideas and ways of working. When we share what we know and learn from each other, the whole team benefits. The next time you’re working with someone from a different generation, consider asking yourself: What might I learn from their perspective? That small shift can lead to more understanding, respect, and collaboration.
