Member Spotlight - Keegan Burch & Karina Mallaeva

Keegan graduated from Plymouth State University with a BFA in Graphic Design and has three years of experience in the A/E/C industry. She is currently a Marketing Specialist at David Evans & Associates, Inc. Recently, she and her boyfriend moved back to Connecticut from the West Coast, where they bought a house with their mini Aussiedoodle.
Keegan initially joined SMPS Oregon three years ago to gain a better understanding of the A/E/C industry, network, and advance in her professional growth. Now fully transitioned to SMPS Connecticut and working remotely since returning to the East Coast, she is eager to get involved with SMPS Connecticut. Her goal is to meet new people, build relationships, and foster connections through face-to-face interactions. Keegan hopes to join several committees and actively contribute to further her professional growth.
A fun fact about Keegan is that was born and raised in Oklahoma until she was 10 years old.
Karina is brand new to the A/E/C world. She is excited to join SMPS so she can connect with other professionals within the industry. She enjoys the community that SMPS has to offer, is looking forward to growing her skillset and building meaningful relationships.
You can find Karina laying out in the sun at Elizabeth Park, drinking an iced latte, and showing anyone who asks (or doesn't ask) pictures of her cats.
