Summer is officially here! Check out all the chapter, education, and networking opportunities SMPS Connecticut is providing over the Summer months – I hope you can join us!

Chapter Strategic Planning (June 30th) – Join SMPS Connecticut and incoming 2022/2023 President Julia DeFrances for a strategic planning session filled with fun, collaboration and creative thinking as we discuss critical path items and set goals to make our 2022-2023 program year the best it can be. This event is open (and free!) to all SMPS Connecticut members, past-presidents, and sponsors.

Summer Social: Volunteer Appreciation & New Member Welcome (July 13th) – Join us as we celebrate the end of the program year, welcome our new members and show thanks to all our hardworking volunteers! This event is free for new members and 2021/2022 chapter committee/task force volunteers! Attendees will also have the chance to win a free registration to SMPS Connecticut’s 2022 Win More Work Summit.

Summer School: Adobe InDesign for A/E/C Marketers (July 27th) - We will be holding a special “summer school” edition of our education workshops series. This extended session will cover Adobe InDesign from basic introductory level skill sets, to more advanced tips and tricks to get the most of your workflow. Taught by Betty Hackney, Assoc. AIA, Principal of AT • AT Design, this 1.5 hour session will allow participants to learn and reinforce best practices while also allowing you to ask questions and get answers to all your Adobe InDesign needs.

Mentorship Cohort Summer Meeting and Social (August 4th) - SMPS Connecticut's Mentorship Cohort will hold their final meetup of the 2021-2022 program year in-person! This event is open to all current SMPS Connecticut members including current mentors and protégés enrolled in the program; new and/or emerging marketing and BD professionals within the AEC industry seeking advice and to build their network; and seasoned/experienced AEC Marketing and BD professionals looking to share their knowledge and expertise. This is a great opportunity to network and learn more about SMPS Connecticut's Mentorship Program.
