Caroline Cianni is a seasoned marketing professional with over 14 years of experience in the A/E/C industry and more than seven years at CDM Smith. In her role as Mega Pursuit and Strategy Leader, Caroline specializes in guiding high-profile pursuits with a strategic focus on winning themes and compelling messaging. Her expertise spans in-depth interview and presentation coaching, client and competitor analysis, teaming strategy, and detailed writing and editing.
Caroline is a Connecticut native, originally from Stamford and currently residing in West Hartford with her husband, two children, and giant dog. Caroline is an active member with Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) Connecticut chapter with a seat on the Communications committee and she was the chapter’s 2024 Member of the Year! She is also the VP of Communications for her daughter’s elementary school PTO, social media coordinator for the West Hartford Women’s Chorale (of which she sings in the Soprano I section), and member of the Financial Development Committee for YMCA Camp Mohawk for Girls in Litchfield. She enjoys playing golf, reading books that are way too long, and listening to every podcast under the sun.
As a member of SMPS, Caroline hopes to expand her knowledge of the power of marketing tools and gain insights into bright ideas for client engagement.
