President's Message - April 2022

Happy National Volunteer Month!

I would like to dedicate this month’s President’s Message to all of SMPS Connecticut’s hard-working volunteers! Some of you might not know that SMPS Connecticut is 100% volunteer run – all of the amazing things we do, from our programs, educations workshops, mentorship cohorts, newsletters and emails, to membership and industry outreach, would not be possible without our volunteers dedicating their precious time to make it all happen.  They do this on top of the demands of their A/E/C careers in order to give back to other SMPS members and our industry. I am truly honored as the current SMPS Connecticut president to be able to work with and learn from all of our rockstar volunteers. Thank you to the board and all the committee volunteers!
